Everything a surfer needs \u2013 in one place<\/h2>\n

Topsea Surfing Center is Israel\u2019s most complete and professional surf center \u2013 a one-stop shop for every surfer at every level. Whether you're just starting out or already competing, we offer everything you need: personal instruction, group lessons, seasonal camps, year-round classes, pro-level teams, guided surf trips, high-quality gear rentals, professional advice, and most importantly \u2013 a strong and supportive surfing community built around the sea.<\/p>\n

A legacy that began in 1956<\/h2>\n

Topsea was founded in 1956 by the legendary Shamai \u201cTopsea\u201d Kancepolsky, who introduced surfing to Israel and established the Israeli Lifeguard Certification Course. He was the country\u2019s first surfing instructor and local surfboard shaper, inspiring generations of surfers through his passion, guidance and deep connection to the ocean.<\/p>\n

Carrying the torch \u2013 Orian Kancepolsky<\/h2>\n

Orian Kancepolsky, the youngest son of Topsea, has been surfing for 49 years, and instructing for 46 years \u2013 making him the most experienced surf instructor in Israel.<\/p>\n

He holds:
\n- A degree in education
\n- Official certification as a surf instructor
\n- Lifeguard licenses (both beach and pool)<\/p>\n

Over the years, Orian:
\n- Taught surfing at Tel Aviv\u2019s Ironi He high school
\n- Led national surf education programs for the Israeli Surfing Association
\n- Worked with youth at risk through the Tel Aviv Municipality and \u201cAl Sam\u201d organization
\n- Studied at the renowned surf camp of Dr. Dorian Paskowitz in California
\n- Competed as one of Israel\u2019s top 10 surfers
\n- Surfed top breaks around the globe: Hawaii, Australia, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Maldives, Canary Islands, Sri Lanka, Andaman Islands, Fiji, and more<\/p>\n

A family rooted in surfing<\/h2>\n

Today, Topsea is run by Orian along with the next generation of the family:
\n- Meitav Avital \u2013 grandson of Topsea, former owner of \u201cBamboo Surf,\u201d certified surf & swim instructor, currently leading Topsea\u2019s professional surf teams
\n- Naturel\u00a0 \u2013 Orian\u2019s son and Topsea\u2019s grandson, certified surf instructor and key member of the coaching staff<\/p>\n
